Rome Airport Transfers
Rome is served by two airports: Fiumicino (FCO), the main international hub, and Ciampino (CIA), used by budget airlines. Both offer private door-to-door transfers at fixed prices.
FCO or CIA — which Rome airport?
Fiumicino (FCO) — Rome's main international airport, 32 km south-west of the city. Handles long-haul, intercontinental and most European routes. Four terminals; the Leonardo Express train to Termini runs every 30 minutes (€14).
Ciampino (CIA) — compact budget-carrier airport 15 km south-east of Rome. Served by Ryanair and Wizz Air. No train link; shuttle buses to Termini take 40 minutes. Private transfer is the most convenient option for most visitors.
